HEXIE FLOWER DAY

The flowers are  multiplying, mainly due to the fact that I have been outside on the swing seat listening to my Kindle.   Did I tell you that I luv my kindle.  Reading at the moment The Lady of Milkweed Manor.

But back to the sewing

and this is what The Scot is playing at ....... making a Stirling Engine.    He made all parts from scrap

video

but as it isn't working properly he has been trying to grow.......

The Scot looks like a kid in a candy store, very happy! And, one can never see too many of your flowers, so beautiful!

All this time I have been piecing quilt blocks, but you have found a way to grow them in your garden! Brilliant Birdie :)

Beautiful hexies. I'm glad you're enjoying your Kindle. I have a NOOK and I love it.

Your flowers are very colorful.

I don't have an electronic reader...I still feel the need to hold the pages in my hand, especially after so much blogging and work and everything else I do is so computerized! Now, give me my ipod and I'll listen to music for hours. Keep on sewing!

I like your flowers. A good combination: listening to books and stitching.

Love the video! How clever! You both are - The Scot making working models like that, very rewarding when they do what he hopes. Good for him.
Glad you are enjoying summer in the garden now, - sewing and reading with your ears! lol. Multi-talented girl! :-D
