GARDEN PARTY

oh dear I have an admission ...... I am totally addicted to this English Paper Piecing.   This was learnt many many moons ago and I thought 'oh yes got that out of my system'   but now thanks to Karen and Jossie I am totally besotted again.

The Big and Little Sisters will be ongoing

but

We now have

An Adopted Sister

These are the fabrics also in T's Quilt.   I purchase it some years ago as I really love the colours its called Portugal by April Cornell.    It was perfect for the stitchery quilt and now I think its going to make a super flower garden.

I love that flower Sheila. I used some fabrics from that collection in my Vintage Valentine quilt. It is a very romantic looking fabric.
Thank you for the info on the unique flower you have. My best to the Scot

I did some English paper piecing many moons ago. It is so addictive I wouldn't dare try it now, because then the UFOs would languish even longer! Lovely farbics in this one.....

I have often admired this portugal fabric by April Cornell- it makes up a lovely grandmother's flower garden.
It really is a pretty design- I wish there was a way to do it using a machine. I am not brave enough to want to piece it by hand- it would never get finished.
It sure is a popular pattern on the blogs and some people are even using the Accuquilt Go cutter to speed up the cutting.
Enjoyed seeing your previous quilt and the plants in your spring garden.
It is quite fall- ish here in Alberta- the weather has been cool and rainy. Hope we have some warm days yet before winter sets in.
Warmest regards,
Anna
