GARDEN PARTY DAY

Yes its Garden Party Day again.   And I have a terrible thing to admit to.    I have changed my plans.

Whats New ....... You say   lol.

I loved doing the Big Sisters but .....

something just didn't click.  So now I present Cousin Hex

But don't worry.   Big Sisters are going to become a tablecover for the Dining Room Table.  The Scot is going to help me work out how to fit the hexies into a circular cloth.

Little Sisters and Adopted Sisters are still in the picture.  Just making the hexies ready for the flowers.

These look so beautiful. I don't think I've seen hexies made in Japanese fabrics before.

Beautiful colors Sheila and I love the contrast. That is the good thing about hexies, you can always make something else with them.

Oh I love the colours and wow!
This is a gorgeous cousin! :)
Sheila, I am also hexing away: I have my charm-hexies, my nautical hexies, my spotty hexies, and I seem to recall something about fussy cutting hexies...
As long as we are having fun, right?
:)
great job!

You really make me smile. I love your new hexies and can't wait to see what you did with the 'oldies'.

Mmmm.. Where is the name inspiration coming from? First Big Sisters, then Little Sisters, followed by Adopted Sister's (getting closer...) now Cousin Hex's - Oh dear, religated as we watch.....

Still - on the bright side they are cheerful, even have hands across the miles ( I think?) within the patterns. Multi-faceted friends me thinks, yeah, friends is good!
Good - enjoy your stitching birdy. x

Amazing! I have some Jappanes Fabrics in my stash, but didn't know what to do with them.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Changing our minds and making new plans is something quilters do well, whether at the beginning, in the middle, or approaching the end of a project.
These flowers are gorgeous! Love the fabrics.
